
What’s the 4th of July without some amazing fireworks, getting out on the water and great food!! With Minnesota being known for its amazing 10,000 lakes, there is no shortage of fireworks displays around here! Whether your a fireworks enthusiast or not, here is my go-to guide of where you can find fireworks this 4th of July in Minnesota. Here are the top picks right from Minnesota Monthly below, plus I added a few other great spots you can catch some amazing fireworks this 4th of July!
Red White and Boom
If you are a twin cities metro area resident or just want to travel in to get the full experience, this is one surely not to miss! It’s a classic for twin cities residents. Red White and Boom is the LARGEST 4th of July show in Minnesota!! The best location to catch the fireworks is from the Stone Arch Bridge or Gold Medal Park.
Stillwater
One of my favorite small towns in Minnesota! With its picturesque small town feel, you can enjoy an afternoon of shopping, ice cream, a good dinner and music. And of course an amazing fireworks display at Lowell Park. For a full list of details you can find it HERE!
Delano
Known as Minnesota’s oldest and largest 4th of July celebration. Delano’s 4th of July Celebration spans over four days and includes softball and baseball tournaments, a carnival in Central Park, a gigantic parade that brings in some fun marching bands and let’s be honest the fireworks are pretty amazing!! Lake Minnetonka
If you are a Minnesota native and are in the twin cities metro, you know that Minnetonka knows how to do the 4th of July! From the Firecracker Runs, Sand Sculpture Contest, Water Street Kids Parade. Annandale
If you are a Wright County native, than you no doubt know that Annandale, MN known as the heart of the lakes because of its 26 lakes within a 10-mile radius. And Annandale is undoubtly known for putting on an amazing 4th of July! From the local carnival, farmers market, wright county swappers meet, boat parades, and no shortage of outdoor music, good food and company and of course the ANNUAL 4th of July parade and fireworks! Many of the local lakes in Annandale also put off their own fireworks displays. If you are a local to Wright County and surrounding areas, this one is sure not to be missed.
